Judges needed

UIL judges are needed for the prose and poetry competitions on March 27-28 at MSU.  For more information, contact Melanie Conrad at 397-4375. 



Game night

The NAACP will present "Harlem Nights" tonight at 7:30 p.m. in the Clark Student Center game room.  Dominoes, Madden, Spades and more will be played, and refreshments will be served.



First meeting

The MSU Fellowship of Christian Athletes will have its first meeting Feb. 21 at 7 p.m. in the atletic weight room.  For more information, contact Coach Chilly.



Survival MSU

Applications are available in the Clark Student Center atrium for Survival MSU.

The game will follow the teleevision show "Survivor" as closely as possible.  Students will live outside at Sikes Lake with other contestants from the evening of Friday, April 21, to the afternoon of Friday, April 28.  Studetns will be expected to attend their classes during the game.  The grand prize will be $1,000.

Applications are due Friday, March 10 at 5 p.m. in the Office of Student Activities.  Mandatory interviews will then be conducted from March 20 to March 31 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.



Campus donations

ALD and PES are currently helping Homeward Bound and need students' participation.  They are accepting donations including new socks and granola/cereal bars, as well as hygiene products like toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, shampoo and gloves.

Donation boxes can be found around campus.  Donations can also be delivered to Beverly Stiles or David Carlston in the sociology and psychology departments in O'Donohoe.
