The Artist Lecture Series presents the Brubeck Brothers in concert Wednesday at 7 p.m.  The concert will be in Akin Auditorium and admission is free with a valid MSU ID.  For more information call 397-4291.

Hypnotist Al James will be performing on Thursday at 8 p.m. in the Clark Student Center Atrium.  For more information call 397-4520

The Office of Housing and Residence Life will be hosting the Roommate Game in CSC Shawnee Theater on Thursday at 9 p.m.  A video on how to freak out your roommate will be featured with a game to follow, where pairs of roommates will compete on who knows each other best.  Gift certificates to the mall will be awarded to the winners.  For more information call 397-7200.

MSU will be having a day for high school students to explore jobs in health sciences and human services Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  Students from area high school will rotate through departments in the college and have the opportunity to learn about careers in respiratory care, dental hygiene, radiology and much more.  For more information call 397-4594. 

Campus Crusade will be having an interdenominational worship service Friday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in CSC Shawnee Theater.  Everyone is invite to attend. 

Just a reminder to all students, faculty and staff that the Clark Student Center and computer lab will be closed Nov. 25-27 for Thanksgiving.  They will open again Nov. 28 at 9 a.m.

Alpha Phi Sorority and the University Programming Board will be having a self-defense class Nov. 30 at 8:30 p.m. in CSC Comanche Suites.  The class will teach participants how to protect themselves from unexpected violence.  MSU policeman Larry Phillips is the instructor and has several belts in Tae-Kwon-Do. 

“Wichita Falls Opoly” will be coming to town Dec. 1 as a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.  The cost is $20 and the board game will be played at Hastings Bookstore off of Southwest Parkway.  For more information call Dana Papp at 322-4371 or 676-7961.

The MSU Golden Thunder Marching Band will perform a Fantasy of Lights Christmas Concert will be on Dec. 3 at 7 p.m.  The concert will follow the ceremonial lighting, which begins at 6 p.m. outside of the Hardin Building.   For more information call 397-4267. 

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority will be hosting a formal ball called a “Pearlfect Occasion” on Dec. 3 at the Outdoor Education Center to benefit the Tenia Dawson Scholarship fund.  Tickets will be $5 in advance and $7 at the door.
