Friday is the last day for students to drop a class with a “W.”

MSU’s Computer Science Department will be having a 25th Anniversary Celebration Nov. 12 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.  The celebration will be in the Clark Student Center in Comanche Suites.  For more information call 397-4702.

The MSU College Bowl Campus Tournament will be Saturday and Sunday from 1-6 p.m. in CSC.  Teams of four players will compete by answering questions on current events, music, history and much more. 

“Voices” Literary magazine is now accepting submissions of poetry and prose. For more information call 397-6654.

The Wichita Falls Chamber Orchestra will be presenting a fall concert Sunday at 3 p.m.  The concert will be at the Kemp Center and will feature Derrick Denham on piano and a vocal performance.  For more information call 397-4267.

Jim Bob Salazar and the MSU Art Department will be having a pottery workshop Tuesday at 9 p.m.  The workshop will be in the Fain Fine Arts Building room C119.  For more information call 397-4270.

“Humble Boy” will be showing in the Lamar D. Fain Fine Arts Center Theater.  It will be showing Nov. 11-13 at 7:30 p.m. ad Nov. 14 at 2:30 p.m.  Admission is free with a valid MSU ID.  For more information call 397-4393. 

There will be a Wheels-for-Life relay Nov. 13 benefiting St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.  Anyone who has a set of wheels is encouraged to go to the Outdoor Education Center to participate.  There will also be a silent auction and a dance the night of the relay.  Those who would like to participate are to call Andy Tyler at 767-3720 and pick up a sign up sheet.  Participants will also need friends and family to sponsor them with monetary donations.  All of the money raised will go to benefit St. Jude’s.
