CAMPUS BRIEFS

The MSU Film Club will be having a fundraiser Nov. 4 at El Chico on Central Freeway.  Anyone who eats at the restaurant that day from 5 to 10 p.m. can tell their server they want to support the Film Club and a portion of their bill will go to the club. 

The Air Force ROTC will have recruiting booths in the Clark Student Center every Monday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.  The booth will be informative and have career opportunities available through the Air Force. 

The Senior Nursing Students will be having a Security and Lighting Upgrade Presentation.  It will be Friday at 9 a.m. in Bridwell Hall, room 108.  Please R.S.V.P. by calling 397-6574.

The MSU College Bowl Campus tournament will be Nov. 6 and 7 from 1 to 6 p.m. in the Clark Student Center.  Teams of four players will compete by answering questions on current events, music, history and much more.  Registration forms are due by Nov. 1 and are available in the Bolin building, room 118 or send an e-mail to mark.farris@mwsu.edu.

Kelly Guthrie, licensed psychologist will be having a brown bag luncheon Friday at 12 p.m. in the Kiowa Ex-Students Room in the CSC.  Everyone is invited to bring a sack lunch, listen to health professionals from around the area and ask questions if they would like.  For more information call 397-4470.

There will be a tailgate party Saturday starting at 11:30 a.m. before the football game.  It will be at Memorial Stadium and everyone is invited to bring food and friends.  For more information call 397-4500.

The University Programming Board will be presenting “Dash for Dollars,” a game show, on Nov. 3 at 7 p.m. in the CSC Atrium.  Participants will stand in a box while money blows around and try to grab as much money as they can.  For more information call 397-4937. 

The Career Management Center will be having an Education Career Fair Nov. 4 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the CSC Comanche Suites.  About 30 school districts from across the state of Texas will have recruiters, superintendents and principals there to interview MSU students and alumni.  Those who want to attend are asked to bring resumes and be prepared for an interview.  For more information call 397-4432.
