The MSU Department of Housing and Residence Life will be upgrading the Resnet system in all housing.  New virus software will be installed on every computer in the MSU housing network due to a recent flood of viruses.  Residents who have not had the software installed by Oct. 26 will have their Resnet ports shut off.  Residents are asked to make appointments with their Resident Assistants.  For more information call 397-4188 or send an email to thomas.case@mwsu.edu.

Everyone is invited to attend a speech on diversity presented by the Student Success Series.  Victor Gonzalez will be speaking Thursday at 7 p.m. in Comanche Suites in the Clark Student Center.  For more information call 397-4500.

The University Programming Board will be showing “The Village” on Friday.  Movie times will be at 2 p.m. in the Shawnee Theater and at 8 p.m. outside by the fountain in the quadrangle.  For more information call 397-4500. 

Transportation to the football game this weekend will be provided by the University Programming Board for those who want to attend.  The game will be in Ada, Oklahoma against East Central.  Students are asked to meet at 10 a.m. on Saturday in the CSC at the information desk.  For more information call 397-4500. 

The center for Continuing Education will be hosting a one-day bus trip to Fort Worth on Oct. 27.  Patrons will depart from campus at 7 a.m. and will return the same night and will visit museums in the Fort Worth cultural district.  The cost is $20 per person and does not include lunch or admission fees.  Those who want to attend are asked to make reservations.  For more information call 397-4756. 

Students are encouraged to attend Magician and Illusionist Mike Super’s show on Oct. 27 at 7 p.m.  The show will be in Comanche Suites and will feature illusions and magic tricks.  It is presented by Student Activities.  For more information call 397-4937
